How to pair Oticon hearing aids with an iPhone
Quick answer: On your iPhone go to Settings › Accessibility › Hearing Devices, restart your Oticon hearing aids so they enter pairing mode, tap Pair MFi Hearing Device (or the hearing aid name), and accept each pairing request. Then open Oticon Companion.

Steps
- Update your iPhone (Settings › General › Software Update).
- Open Settings, tap Accessibility, then Hearing Devices.
- Turn your hearing aids off and on (or take them out of the charger) to put them in pairing mode, and keep them close to the phone.
- Tap Pair MFi Hearing Device and follow the prompts. If you don’t see that, tap your hearing aid’s name when it appears, then tap Pair on each request.
- Wait up to a minute for pairing to finish before streaming.
- Install the free Oticon Companion app from the App Store to adjust volume and programs.
Varies by model
Oticon’s compatibility guide lists which iPhones and iOS versions each Oticon model supports. Older Oticon models (about 2016–2018) may need a software update from your hearing care professional before the Oticon Companion app works.
Common questions
Where is the hearing aid setting on iPhone?
Open Settings, tap Accessibility, then tap Hearing Devices. Apple's own support page describes this path.
Which app do Oticon hearing aids use?
Oticon Companion, free on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Why don’t my hearing aids show up?
Make sure iOS is up to date, the hearing aids were just restarted (pairing mode), and they are not still paired to another Apple device. Apple suggests restarting the iPhone and checking for hearing aid firmware updates.
